Tracy Woodhouse Brosius

Tracy Woodhouse Brosius

Chief Executive Officer

Tracy Woodhouse Brosius serves as HealthWorks Chief Executive Officer. In her role, Tracy is responsible for establishing the strategic vision for the organization and overseeing all operations. Since joining HealthWorks in 2021, Tracy has been on the front lines promoting expanded access to all members of the community. Under her leadership, HealthWorks has grown to serve more individuals in need of access to affordable, quality health care.

She is driven to improve the healthcare system—because everyone deserves caring compassionate healthcare. 

A tireless advocate, Tracy works with community members, partnering organizations, and both local and state legislators to promote HealthWorks’ mission. She’s also developed strong community partnerships with hospitals, mental health agencies and public health departments to provide HealthWorks patients. with a diverse referral network. 

Tracy serves as a board member for the Wyoming Primary Care Association and represents Community Health Centers on the Wyoming Governor’s Health Task Force. The task force’s primary purpose is to manage costs, increase access to affordable primary care for all residents, and provide quality care throughout the continuum of services.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Marketing, Finance, and French from the University of Wyoming. Shortly after college, she accidentally fell into the healthcare world and has never managed to escape. Her experience includes roles at short- and long-term hospitals, skilled nursing and long-term care, commercial and managed care insurance payor contracting, and capitated plan benefit management for the Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE).

Tracy is raising teenage boys and enjoys gardening when the Wyoming weather cooperates.

Chief Operating Officer

Diane joined the HealthWorks team in June 2013. Diane has been on the front lines of healthcare delivery as a medical assistant, staff nurse, and administrator. She brings over 20 years of experience in the ambulatory setting. Diane has extensive experience in clinical operations management, clinical quality programs, process improvement, patient flow, and risk management. Diane is an enthusiastic team player and is passionate and committed to the HealthWorks team and the community which they serve.

In her spare time, Diane enjoys spending time with her children and family enjoying sports activities and the beautiful Wyoming backyard.

Margaret Cox

Chief Financial Officer

Margaret Cox joined the HealthWorks team as Chief Financial Officer in 2018. She grew up in Cheyenne and attended the University of Wyoming for undergraduate and graduate school, where she earned her Masters of Finance degree. After graduating, she spent her career in the non-profit world in many different capacities, including roles at the Cheyenne Family YMCA and Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust.

Prior to accepting her position at HealthWorks, Margaret was the Business Manager for Carbon County School District #1 in Rawlins, Wyoming. The opportunity to move back to Cheyenne to work at HealthWorks has been very rewarding. 

Margaret is a member of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club, Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Afterschool for Kids (ASK) board. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, volunteer work and cooking.

Monica Jennings Woodard

Operations Director

Monica Jennings Woodard is the Operations Director at HealthWorks, supporting Patient Access Advocates, Intake and Eligibility, Case Management, Care Management, Medical Clerk, and our Mobile Health Clinic. She is always eager to help in other areas as needed, and her ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently allows her to serve many families by eliminating communication barriers.

As Operations Director, Monica can frequently be found working with frontline staff to improve processes for staff and patients. She has over 20 years of combined experience in healthcare and social services and a passion for addressing social determinants of health (including language access advocacy) to promote healthy and thriving lifestyles. Within HealthWorks, she is most proud of fostering positive team dynamics across disciplines where employees work together and are eager to collaborate and work efficiently with accuracy.  

Monica has a master’s degree in organizational leadership through Gonzaga University and considers herself to be a lifelong learner.

For fun, Monica can be found spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and/or reading a great book. 

Lynn Singer

Lynn Singer

Human Resources Manager

Lynn Singer is the Human Resources Manager at HealthWorks, with many years of experience in recruitment/onboarding, performance management, payroll, HRMS, policy development and benefit administration. She is passionate about creating a positive work environment and supporting HealthWorks’ incredible, close-knit staff.

Wyoming is home for Lynn, who moved to Cheyenne from Buffalo, WY, in 1988. Raising her family here and spending time with them is what’s most important.

Lynn joined HealthWorks in 2018 and feels very fortunate to continue being part of an amazing team with the dedication and passion to serve the patients of HealthWorks and the community of Cheyenne. She is excited to continue her work in HR and looks forward to contributing to the success of HealthWorks.

Lori Tiegs

Lori Tiegs

Executive Assistant

Lori Tiegs is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership at Cheyenne Health & Wellness Center (HealthWorks). Her 17+ years of administrative experience and expertise in scheduling, correspondence and project coordination make her an invaluable asset to our senior leadership team.

Originally from Aberdeen, South Dakota, Lori graduated from Dickinson State University with an Associate of Arts degree in Executive Secretary. After graduating, Lori undertook a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties within business industry. In 2006, Lori moved to Cheyenne, WY, and entered the nonprofit world, where she developed a strong sense of devotion for the nonprofit sector. 

Lori’s favorite pastimes are enjoying the outdoors, particularly in the mountains, reading a great book, and cherishing her four grandchildren!

Pharmacist in Charge

Kristen Lovas grew up in Cheyenne and graduated from Central High School in 2005. She completed two years of undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before getting accepted to pharmacy school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE. Kristen graduated from UNMC with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2011.  Following graduation, Kristen gained valuable experience as a pharmacist at Hoy’s Hospital Pharmacy and Hoy’s Drug in Cheyenne before accepting a position with HealthWorks.

Kristen enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, wakeboarding and fishing with her family. 

Heather Madrid

Heather Madrid

Behavioral Health Manager

Heather graduated from Colorado State University with her master’s degree in social work and became fully licensed shortly after. She started her career in substance abuse and crisis intervention and stabilization. 

Over the years, Heather has gained experience with a variety of behavioral health issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, and many more. Working from a person-centered approach, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused interventions. Heather also works with many community partners to collaborate on resources and interventions, based on our community’s needs.​

Artesia Alexander

Clinic Director

Artesia is the Clinic Director at HealthWorks, supporting the clinical support team to administer excellent patient care to those with illnesses.

As Clinic Director, Artesia ensures the clinic is operating at its best efficiency, working closely with upper management and staff members to coordinate operations and give patients easy access to quality of care.

Artesia can lead people while still caring deeply for the care of the patients. She combines leadership with compassion towards others, ensuring quality treatment.

Her 20+ years of combined experience in the healthcare setting include roles in both long- and short-term care as a CNA, as well as supporting health information management across EHR’s, Administration with a home health agency, financial analysis and reporting within healthcare alternative payment models, and initiating process improvement implementations based on workflows for the Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). She has a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Park University and is currently working on attaining a nursing degree.

Outside of work, Artesia enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, crafting, and being her girls’ biggest supporter with all their activities.
